Tax Payment Information

Real Estate and Personal Property taxes are due each year on October 1st. You can make payment in person at the City Building using cash, check or credit/debit cards (for card transactions there is an additonal 2.5% transaction fee). We also offer a secure drop box located next to the front door for after hours payments. If paying by mail, checks or money orders are accepted. As a reminder, interest begins to accrue on October 2nd on all past due balances. If you’re making a payment that is on a past due account, please call for an updated balance prior to mailing your payment.

For your convenience, the City offers a Tax Club. Payments for the members of the Tax Club begin in April and carry through to the following March. This allows you to spread your tax bills out over the course of 12 months. Please stop by the City Building for more information on the Tax Club or to sign up.

The City also offers two ways to pay your taxes electronically; a convenient way to pay your Real Estate or Personal Property taxes online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Making your payments online is voluntary.
