The City of Calais Water Department would like to remind everyone that we will be starting our Spring Hydrant Flushing on Monday, April 28th and will continue into May, between the hours of 8:00 am and 3:30 pm, Monday thru Friday. 

During this period, expect occasional yellow water which is due to the presence of iron sediment. Customers are urged to check their water before bathing or doing laundry during this time.
