Public Works: Parks and Cemetery
The City of Calais Public Works Department is now accepting applications for employment in the Parks and Cemetery Department. Applications are available at the Calais City Building on Church Street or at the Public Works Department on North Street. Applications will be accepted until positions are filled. Public Works: Full-Time Truck Driver/Operator
The City of Calais is currently accepting applications for a Truck Driver/Operator in the Public Works Department. This is a skilled and unskilled manual position in the operation of heavy trucks and related automotive equipment. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in the operation of heavy motorized equipment, including snow plowing and sanding. Must possess at least a high school diploma or its equivalent, a valid State of Maine class B driver’s license and have physical strength and agility sufficient for performing the duties of the job. Part- Time and On Call Firefighter-EMT’s and Per Diem Paramedics
Calais Fire-EMS is looking for “on call” Firefighter-EMT’s We offer free training for the job. We have all the proper equipment to make the job as safe as possible. If you have the desire to help your neighbor, this is the job for you.
Calais Fire-EMS is also seeking per diem paramedics. Experience and training as a firefighter would be beneficial. Calais Fire-EMS offers a competitive wage.
