Full Time Paramedic
Calais Fire-EMS is currently seeking Full Time Paramedics. Paramedic students currently in class, in good standing, and with State EMT Advanced licenses are also welcome to apply. The City of Calais offers a competitive wage and benefits package.
Paramedics work a shift consisting of 48 hours on and 144 hours off. Experience and training as a Firefighter would be beneficial. Applicants with a proven history of excellent patient care and customer service are encouraged to apply.

Police Officer- Full-Time
The Calais Police Department is seeking a qualified, motivated, and community-oriented individual for the position of Police Officer. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package including competitive wages and benefits.
Certified Maine Criminal Justice Academy graduates with current police certification are encouraged to apply for lateral transfers for vacation time and pay. Some candidates may be eligible for a signing bonus.
